ARNHEM – Koninklijke Burgers’ Zoo – Shark

On March 31, 1913, Faisanterie Buitenlust, the forerunner of the current modern animal park Burgers’ Zoo, opens its doors to the public for the first time. In Burgers’ Ocean there is the largest living aquarium coral reef outside Australia. The coral reef ecosystem is quite accurately simulated here. The exploration of the tropical coral reef begins at a beach at a tropical lagoon where the water is very shallow. If you follow the path, you descend below the surface. Along with a rifkloof mysterious moray eels arriving at the coral reef. After a trip to the nightly reefs look through a huge panoramic windscreen on the edge of the coral reef and stands face to face with different species of sharks in open water.
