The site is a real treasure of the patrimony. Listed as a remarkable environmental site. This place consists of underground galleries 15 to 20 meters high. « Falun », local shelly sand, was deposites by the sea about 10 million years ago and then hollowed out by man during the 18th and 19th centuries. After being used as a mushroom farm, dwellings and then renovated into a tourist site during the 1980’s, including exceptional accomodations, the site now bursts of life thanks to the magical scene created by Lucie Lom, Le Mystère des Faluns.
Le Mystère des Faluns, is an artistic walk in wonderful underground galleries at « Les Perrières »…and a journey throught the geological and human history of this site.
