The Sanctuary of Santa Maria di Caravaggio Source, in the province of Bergamo and the Diocese of Cremona, is a huge complex built in the sixteenth century on the site of a miraculous apparition of the Virgin to a peasant girl. For centuries an ancient scroll that tells of the apparition of Our Lady to the peasant Jeannette, was exposed in the church, in the main vestry.
