BORDEAUX – Musée du Vin et du Négoce

For more than 2000 years the sun met with the moon in Bordeaux, it was indeed at the heart of the port of the moon formed by the majestic curve of the Garonne river, that traders matured and stored the treasures of Bordeaux in the secret cellars of the Chartrons district. These wines were created under the Aquitaine sun and became famous worldwide. The Bordeaux Wine and Trade Museum pays tribute to these prestigious wines and their enchanting history. The Bordeaux Wine and Trade Museum was created by the association BORDEAUX HISTORIA VINI with support from Mary-Chantal LEBOUCQ a local historian and guide. It was inaugurated in October 2009 by Mr. Alain Juppé , Mayor of Bordeaux, and Mr. Gré gory PECASTAING, President and Founder of the Museum.
