The history of the coal extraction as it was comes to life in the mine museum. The museum includes among others a collection of old mining material, geological material and an ‘underground’ imitation workshop. The museum gives information about the discovery of coal, the first drillings and the security in the underground. Several mine pillars have been reconstructed in the cellar. This way the visitor gets an insight in the world of mining.
