87th Sunday procession started at 13 am and ends at 21:30. The carnival groups treated the audience to a colorful spectacle. This year there were a lot celebrities present at the grandstand on the Markt: Flemish minister Ben Weyts, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander De Croo, Minister of State Herman De Croo, deputies Eddy Couckuyt and Joseph Dauwe, the ambassador of Bulgaria and the chamber chairman Siegfried Bracke. Traditionally, the local, national and international news in the procession were in details seen. Like every year, took the loose carnival groups for the necessary salt and pepper in the procession.
