The collection of the National Mining Museum includes tools, machinery and archive documents in relation to iron ore mining in Luxembourg from the mid-19th century until the 1980s. The largest part of the collection is on display in the mine’s original tunnels. Presented in their original location, the machinery and tools are a vivid reminder of mining as it was.
This exhibition gives the visitor a real understanding of the mineworkers.
