The Sé Velha de Coimbra (Old Cathedral of Coimbra) is a Romanesque-style cathedral built in the 12th century, making it one of Portugal’s best-preserved medieval churches. It features a fortress-like exterior with crenelated walls and a magnificent Renaissance-style portal. Inside, the cathedral boasts a serene Romanesque nave, Gothic chapels, and a beautiful cloister.
