Axolotls are fully aquatic amphibians with external feathery gills and a remarkable ability to regenerate limbs and organs. They live mostly on the bottom of tanks and feed by suction on small prey like worms or pellets.
In the wild, they are critically endangered, so aquariums like this help raise awareness while maintaining proper, cooler habitats for them.
