After a long and suspenseful summer, the extraterrestrial creature who landed at the Tallinn TV Tower has finally chosen its earthling name will be ETI. ETI’s comment on the choice of name: ‘First of all, it explains my origin in English – extraterrestrial intelligence. Second, it can be an acronym for Estonian Television Icon or Extraordinary TV-Tower Individual. In addition, my new, grand name is perfectly understandable internationally, as I will be meeting people from all around the world at the TV Tower.’
