Grey seal is the biggest seal species out of the three species living in the Baltic Sea. Male seals can weight up to 300 kg and reach the length of up to 3 meters. Grey seal have a recognizable long snout. Females are lighter colored than the males and they are smaller in size. Some black and yellow-brown colored individuals have been reported as well. Their diet consists of fish, crayfish and mollusks.
