The Citroën 2CV is one of the great cult cars of the 20th century.
It is an economy car produced by the French company Citroën from 1948 to 1990. Introduced at the 1948 Paris Mondial de l’Automobile, it has an air-cooled engine that is mounted in the front and drives the front wheels.
The success of the 2CV amazed everyone. Within the first month of its release at the Paris Motor Show there was a three year wait for your ordered 2CV. It was certainly very popular and up until the time production came to an end in 1990, more than 4 million 2CVs rolled off the production line.
