The Harry Malter Family Park came into being in 1992, when the circus ‘Piste’ selected the area as their permanent site. It is a zoo that appears to collect ‘curiosities’, such as ‘Mouseland’ (including aeroplane and station), a King Kong slide, the painter Daniel D’s fairground notices, etc. The park is aimed at parents with children, and as such combines play and entertainment with a dash of education and science.
