The complex of pools at El Lago Martianez is the biggest outdoor Museum of Contemporary Art with swimming pools in Europe. The creative mind behind this architectural work was the well-known and appreciated Canary Island artist César Manrique.
La Jibia (squid) is a sculpture to be enjoyed by children located in the children’s swimming pool of the Los Alisios zone. It has different tunnels that liven up the game and bright colours. Built in rendered concrete painted red and white, with green eyes made with the bottom of glass bottles.
