PRAGUE – Botanic Garden

The botanic garden of the capital Prague was founded in 1969 and open to public in 1992. The visitors of the garden can walk through park-arranged areas with decorative garden plants of exhibition quality, such as irises, daylilies, aestival plants, garden perennials and rock plants. Another tour invitation is coming from the Japanese Garden, Turkish and Mediterranean exposition and the collection of moorland plants. The view at the Vineyard of St. Klára offers one of the most beautiful views on the Prague historical centre. The garden is currently experiencing a dynamic development and new expositions are under preparation. Point of interest: Glasshouse Fata Morgana is a unique exhibition glasshouse 130 m long, 17 m wide and 11 m high above the terrain.
