The Universeum is an experiment and experience centre in various fields of technology, science, universe, humankind and nature for young and old. An exciting venue that offers the visitors four different areas to experience: Water’s Way, Smaller and Smaller/Larger and Larger, The Passage of Time and Humankind and its technology. All areas encourage for practical experiments and ‘hands-on’ exhibitions.The Universeum is a magnificent centre covering a full 10.000 square meters. A walk through all the departments is over three kilometers long. Visitors can follow the water from the Swedish mountain scape, via hills, lakes and the great oceans, through the South American jungle and right down to the lagoon in the heart of the rainforest. Home to everything from non-migratory Swedish birds, fish and snakes to exotic caymans, sharks, parrots and the world’s most poisonous creature – the yellow poison-arrow frog
